Composer's Notes

Hello to anyone who reads this, this is a online journal of sorts so I can remember certain aspects of music while allowing anyone else to read it in case it helps them.

Composing for: Ice/Snow Stages

  1. High frequency (often metallic sounding) mallet instruments (Glockenspiel and etc)
  2. 4/4 kick drum line
  3. Wood/Percussion (Wood Block, Sleigh bells, etc)
  4. Light and Airy pads
  5. Wind SFX
  6. Strings

Composing for: Boss Battles

  1. Fast paced Stacatto (Violin/Viola)
  2. Fast Drums (I'd say around 140BPM+)
  3. Usually Orchestral compositions but others such as D&B or Techno could work
  4. Choir
  5. Distorted Electric Guitar (Usually Palm Mutes and a solo)
Composing for: Credit Rolls

This one is more dependant on the game itself, for example, the credit roll to Ape Escape 1
is upbeat while  Castlevania SOTN
is a slow paced song with vocals, so really just work to the game. Another idea can be to Medley the previous stages like in Sonic 3&K

Composing for Desert Stages:

  1. Middle Eastern Sounds (Drums and Instruments, Sitar, Dounmbec, etc)
  2.  Brass and Acoustic Guitar could fit in the right piece
  3.  Rough sounding synths (So saws and that like)
  4. Flute
  5. Saxophone (Low to Mid pitch)

 Composing for Italian Stages/Themes
  1. Accordian man.
  2. Bongos and other related percussion
  3. Flute
  4. Acoustic Guitar

Composer Seeking Work

Hey. Cheers for checking this place out.

I'm using FL Studio 11, have a lot of free time and am looking for work.

History:
I made the OST for Ichiban Abridged (ep 1 doesn't allow embedding so here's ep 2)

and wrote the theme for Port 3.

Wrote the soundtrack for Subconcious but that game is shelved right now.

My uploaded VG Music History:

If you're interested in working together I have skype but I don't put it on sites so search engines can't get it and randomly add me with trojan bots, send me a message on newgrounds or one of my social media sites and I'll get back to you.
